Expressive and Receptive Language
Expressive and receptive language intervention includes, but is not limited to, expressing wants and needs, vocabulary, grammar, expanding sentence length, understanding others, reading comprehension, and following instructions.
Speech-Sound Development
Speech-sound development targets disorders of articulation, phonology, and apraxia to increase your child’s intelligibility.
Executive Functioning
The umbrella of executive functioning skills includes, but is not limited to, working memory, sustaining attention, emotional self-regulation, planning, initiation, and organization. Executive Function disorders are a language deficit and not poor behavioral choices of a child.
Pre- and Early Literacy
Alphabet knowledge, phonological and phonemic awareness skills, and invented spelling that focus on success in literacy skills and academic achievement.
Preschool Group Therapy
A play-based methodology is utilized for speech sound, expressive/receptive language, and pragmatic language development through music, play, movement, and literacy.
Alternative Augmentative Communication (AAC)
Implementation and training of the optimal device and vocabulary to meet the complex communication needs of the child at home and within their school environment.
Feeding Therapy
Feeding therapy includes transitioning to solid foods; difficulties with eating, drinking, chewing, sucking or swallowing; selective feeding (i.e. picky eating); and expanding food repertoire.
Teletherapy
Our online private and special education services offer a fun, interactive, and engaging education program that is individually tailored to meet the needs of the child’s speech and language goals. Held securely over Zoom, your child will participate in fully interactive sessions with access to mouse control, games, and more!
