About


Christy Dresback, owner of Coastal Speech Pathology, is an ASHA certified Speech-Language Pathologist and is currently licensed in the state of Connecticut, Maine, and Rhode Island. She received a Bachelor's degree of English from California Polytechnic State University and a Bachelor's degree of Communication Disorders from Southern Connecticut State University. She holds a Masters degree in Communications Disorders from Arkansas State University. Christy has worked in schools, pediatric hospitals, and private practice with children from birth - 21 years of age who are diagnosed with feeding disorders, traumatic brain injuries, autism spectrum disorders, Childhood Apraxia of Speech (CAS), phonological disorders and language disorders. Her background includes working with children with complex communication needs who require augmentative and alternative communication (AAC) and she is trained in Prompts for Restructuring Oral Muscular Phonetic Targets (PROMPT). She has a passion for helping children reach their fullest potential. From providing feeding therapy to equipping your child with speech-language skills, Christy enjoys working with children of all ages and abilities. Her goal is to aid your child in becoming confident, empowered individuals by providing therapy in a fun and encouraging context. Interacting, communicating, and expressing oneself are crucial developmental milestones that Christy is committed to making sure your child feels confident doing.

Kimberly Munn
Kimberly Munn is an ASHA-certified Speech-Language Pathologist, licensed in the states of Maine and Michigan. She earned her Bachelor's degree in Speech-Language Pathology, with a minor in psychology, from Eastern Michigan University, along with both a K-12 teaching certificate in speech-language pathology and a K-6 teaching certificate. She also holds a Master's degree in Communication Disorders from Eastern Michigan University. Kimberly has worked across school settings, hospitals, and private practice, providing services to children and adults from birth through adulthood. Her clinical experience includes treating traumatic brain injuries, autism spectrum disorders, phonological disorders, stuttering, and language disorders. She also has an extensive background supporting individuals with social-pragmatic challenges, developing employability skills for secondary and post-secondary students with communication needs, and working with individuals who benefit from augmentative and alternative communication (AAC). Kimberly is passionate about helping children become the best version of themselves by supporting the strongest communication abilities possible. She is deeply committed to ensuring that every individual can express their needs, wants, ideas, and thoughts with confidence and clarity.
