Christy Dresback, owner of Coastal Speech Pathology, is an ASHA certified Speech-Language Pathologist, licensed in Connecticut, Maine, and Rhode Island. She received a Bachelor's degree in English from California Polytechnic State University and a Bachelor's degree in Communication Disorders from Southern Connecticut State University. She holds a Master's degree in Communication Disorders from Arkansas State University. Christy has worked in schools, pediatric hospitals, and private practice with children from birth - 21 years of age who are diagnosed with feeding disorders, traumatic brain injuries, autism spectrum disorders, Childhood Apraxia of Speech (CAS), phonological disorders, stuttering, and language disorders. Her background includes working with children with complex communication needs who require augmentative alternative communication  (AAC).  She is trained in Talk Tools, Beckman Oral Motor, Kaufman Speech to Language Protocol, Language Acquisition Through Motor Planning (LAMP), Prompts for Restructuring Oral Muscular Phonetic Targets (PROMPT), and Dynamic Temporal and Tactile Cueing (DTTC).  She has a passion for helping children reach their fullest potential. From providing feeding therapy to equipping your child with speech-language skills, Christy enjoys working with children of all ages and abilities. Her goal is to aid your child in becoming confident, empowered individuals by providing therapy in a fun and encouraging context. Interacting, communicating, and expressing oneself are crucial developmental milestones that Christy is committed to making sure your child feels confident doing.

Rachel Roman

Rachel Roman is an ASHA certified Speech-Language Pathologist, licensed in Arizona and Maine. She received a Bachelor's degree in Communicative Disorders from Northern Illinois University. She holds a Master's degree in Communicative Disorders from Northern Illinois University. Rachel has worked in schools, in-patient rehabilitation, acute care, home health and private practice with children and adults who are diagnosed with feeding disorders, traumatic brain injuries, autism spectrum disorders, phonological disorders, stuttering, and language disorders. Her background includes specializing in trauma informed care, preschool, and multilingual students. Rachel's work is guided by the belief that every child deserves compassionate, personalized support that honors their experiences and celebrates their strengths. She is deeply committed to creating a warm, collaborative environment where clients feel safe to explore, grow, and take meaningful steps toward their communication goals. With a trauma-informed lens and a passion for culturally and linguistically responsive care, she strives to make sessions engaging, empowering, and practical, helping her clients build confidence not only in their communication skills, but in themselves.

Alexa Meller

Alexa Meller is an ASHA certified Speech-Language Pathologist, licensed in Maine and Connecticut. She earned her Bachelor's degree in Early Years and Childhood Studies from University College Cork, in Cork, Ireland. She then earned her Master's of Science in Communication Sciences & Disorders at the University of Vermont in Burlington, Vermont. Alexa has worked with children, adolescents, and adults in many settings including early intervention, schools, and private practice. Within these settings, Alexa gained experience conducting evaluations and providing treatment to those with speech and language disorders and delays, fluency disorders, childhood apraxia of speech, feeding, ADHD, and autism spectrum disorders. Alexa is also trained in the Natural Language Acquisition framework. She is passionate about educating others on this framework for approaching language development and supporting gestalt language processors on their journey to self-generated language. It is always Alexa's goal to provide intentional and collaborative speech and language services while also supporting regulation, integrating sensory experiences, and prioritizing child-led therapy.

Kimberly Munn

Kimberly Munn is an ASHA certified Speech-Language Pathologist, licensed in Maine and Michigan. She earned her Bachelor's degree in Speech-Language Pathology, with a minor in psychology, from Eastern Michigan University, along with both a K-12 teaching certificate in speech-language pathology and a K-6 teaching certificate. She also holds a Master's degree in Communication Disorders from Eastern Michigan University. Kimberly has worked across school settings, hospitals, and private practice, providing services to children and adults from birth through adulthood. Her clinical experience includes treating traumatic brain injuries, autism spectrum disorders, phonological disorders, stuttering, and language disorders. She also has an extensive background supporting individuals with social-pragmatic challenges, developing employability skills for secondary and post-secondary students with communication needs, and working with individuals who benefit from augmentative alternative communication (AAC). Kimberly is passionate about helping children become the best version of themselves by supporting the strongest communication abilities possible. She is deeply committed to ensuring that every individual can express their needs, wants, ideas, and thoughts with confidence and clarity.

Ashley Robinson

 

Ashley Robinson is an ASHA certified Speech-Language Pathologist, licensed in Maine and Michigan. She earned her Bachelor's degree in Speech Pathology and Audiology, with a minor in psychology, from Western Michigan University. She also holds a Master's degree in Speech and Hearing Sciences from the University of North Carolina - Chapel Hill. Ashley has worked in schools, outpatient clinics, and private practice providing services to children and adults. Her clinical experience includes supporting complex communication needs, individuals with significant multiple impairments, autism spectrum disorders, and speech and language disorders. She also has an extensive background in assessment and implementation of augmentative alternative communication (AAC) to support language and literacy skills in individuals from birth through adulthood. Ashley believes that communication is a human right. She is dedicated to helping everyone find a voice!

Suzanne Waddell

 

Suzanne Waddell is an ASHA certified Speech-Language Pathologist, licensed in Arkansas and Maine. She received a Bachelor's degree in Education from Arkansas State University, and holds a Master's degree in Communication Disorders from Arkansas State University. Suzanne has worked in private practice and schools with children from birth-18 years of age who are diagnosed with feeding disorders, autism spectrum disorders, Childhood Apraxia of Speech (CAS), phonological disorders, stuttering, and language disorders. Her clinical experience includes working with children with oral motor delays, language disorders, phonological disorders, dyslexia, and complex communication needs who require augmentative alternative communication (AAC). Suzanne has received training in Talk Tools, Beckman Oral Motor, Kaufman Speech to Language Protocol, and Language Acquisition Through Motor Planning (LAMP). She has a passion for helping children reach their fullest potential. Suzanne enjoys working with children of all ages and abilities. Her goal is to aid your child in becoming a confident and empowered individual by providing therapy in an engaging and encouraging context. Tracy Lombardo

 

Tracy Lombardo is an ASHA certified Speech-Language Pathologist, licensed in Maine, Florida, Virginia, Nevada and Oregon. She received a Bachelor's degree in Speech and Hearing Sciences from Portland State University. She holds a Master's degree in Speech and Hearing Sciences from Portland State University. Tracy has worked in public schools, hospitals, home health, private practice and skilled nursing facilities with children and adults diagnosed with traumatic brain injuries, autism spectrum disorders, Childhood Apraxia of Speech (CAS), phonological disorders, stuttering, language disorders, aphasia, voice disorders and swallowing disorders. Her background includes providing services to individuals with complex medical conditions, such as neurodegenerative disorders, who utilize augmentative alternative communication (AAC). She obtained additional training and certification in respiratory muscle strength training, myofunctional disorders, FEES, Vital-Stim and a variety of low tech and high tech communication software. Tracy employs a holistic approach in therapy, recognizing the significant impact of factors such as sleep, nutrition, and environment on cognitive communication skills.  She is dedicated to empowering your child to become a confident individual with improved communication skills through fun and engaging activities.

Annmarie Zuluaga Yafrate

Annmarie Zuluaga Yafrate is an ASHA certified Speech-Language Pathologist, licensed in Maine, Massachusetts, and Pennsylvania. Annmarie received Bachelor's degrees in Psychology and Spanish from Bucknell University. She also holds a Master's degree in Child Development from Tufts University and a Master's degree in Communication Sciences and Disorders from Emerson College. Before becoming an SLP, Annmarie worked abroad in France as a developmental specialist for autistic students living abroad with their families. She later worked as a project manager conducting early childhood research in autism at Boston Children's Hospital and Boston University. As an SLP, Annmarie has worked in outpatient pediatric multi-disciplinary centers, hospitals, and school-based settings, providing services to children, teens, and adults from linguistically and culturally diverse backgrounds. Her clinical experience includes treating individuals with autism, articulation and phonological disorders, motor-speech disorders, receptive-expressive language delays and disorders, and those with social communication challenges. She has extensive experience providing services to students who can benefit from augmentative alternative communication (AAC). She is also trained in the Natural Language Acquisition approach to therapy and provides these services with her students who present with a Gestalt language-learning profile. Annmarie is deeply committed to supporting her students by presuming competence and offering a safe space to learn and communicate using a total communication approach. Her therapeutic process involves getting to know the whole student beyond their speech and language abilities, such as by understanding their social-emotional and sensory profiles, as well as their literacy abilities. Annmarie strongly believes in a therapy approach rooted in neurodiversity affirming practices, offering therapy sessions that are strengths-based and interest-based to set her students up for success in becoming confident and competent communicators.

Elizabeth "Beth" Lee

 

Beth Lee is an ASHA certified Speech-Language Pathologist, licensed in Oregon and Maine. She received a Bachelor's degree in Human Development and Family Studies from Colorado State University and a Master's degree in Communication Sciences and Disorders from Idaho State University. Beth has worked in public schools, early intervention, and private practice with children from 1- 18 years of age who are diagnosed with feeding disorders, autism spectrum disorders, Childhood Apraxia of Speech (CAS), phonological disorders, stuttering, language, and social-pragmatic disorders. Her background includes teaching in preschools, working with children with complex communication needs who require augmentative alternative communication (AAC), providing therapy to reduce thumb sucking and myofunctional disorders, and she is trained in the "Tongue Tips" program for myofunctional therapy. Beth enjoys working with young children to give them the tools to communicate effectively with caregivers and peers and to be confident and successful in all areas of life.

Rebecca Bianco

Rebecca Bianco is an ASHA certified Speech-Language Pathologist, licensed New Jersey, Maine, Delaware, Maryland and Virginia. She received a Bachelor's degree in Speech Pathology from the University of Maine at Farmington and a master's degree in Communication Disorders from West Chester University in Pennsylvania. Rebecca has worked in public schools, early intervention and for private practices for 30 years. Her background includes working with children and adults with developmental delays, cognitive impairment, receptive and expressive language disorders, Autism Spectrum Disorder, social skills, fluency, voice disorders, articulation, phonology,  apraxia, and AAC needs. She enjoys making connections with students and her clients to better meet their needs on a personal and individual level. Everyone deserves a voice, and she believes in helping to give her students the foundations for future success, and the skills needed to be an effective communicator. She has an interest in how practicing mindfulness improves communication through being present, active listening, emotional awareness, and regulation, reducing conflict and stress, and fostering empathy and compassion.

Erin Griffin

 
 

Erin Griffin is an ASHA certified Speech-Language Pathologist, licensed in Massachusetts and Maine. She received her Master of Science in Speech-Language Pathology from Northeastern University and her Bachelor of Arts in Communication Sciences and Disorders from James Madison University. Erin has worked in public and private schools, home health and pediatric outpatient settings with children ranging from 12 months to 22 years old. She has experience supporting children with articulation and phonological disorders, motor speech disorders, receptive-expressive language delays and disorders, social-pragmatic language needs and autism spectrum disorders. She is trained in DTTC (Dynamic Temporal and Tactile Cueing) and Natural Language Acquisition. She also has experience working with children who communicate in a variety of ways, including AAC, signs/gestures, and spoken language through a Total Communication Approach. Erin believes in meeting each child where they are, finding what motivates them and using their interests to make learning meaningful and fun. She is dedicated to helping children grow into confident communicators by building the skills they need to express themselves, connect with others and thrive.

Michelle Bunch

 

Michelle Bunch is an ASHA certified Speech-Language Pathologist, licensed in Maine, South Carolina, Georgia, and Florida. She earned her Bachelor's in Science degree with a concentration in Communication Sciences and Disorders from Winthrop University. She holds a Master's degree in Communication Sciences and Disorders from the University of South Carolina. Michelle has been recognized with the ASHA ACE Award for her dedication to ongoing professional development and education. Michelle has extensive experience across school settings and private practice, providing services to individuals from birth through adulthood. She has supported children with a wide range of communication needs, including autism spectrum disorders, articulation and phonological disorders, stuttering, AAC, early language development, and language disorders. Known for her creativity and commitment to individualized care, Michelle excels at developing innovative, outside-the-box strategies to support children with medically complex conditions as well as intellectual and developmental disabilities. She believes that communication is fundamental to every person's quality of life, and being part of someone's journey toward stronger, more confident communication skills is her favorite aspect of the profession.

Linda Thoresen

Linda Thoresen is an ASHA certified Speech-Language Pathologist, licensed in Florida, Maine, Texas, and Virginia. She received a Bachelor of Arts degree in Speech Pathology and Audiology from both the College of Arts and Sciences and the College of Education at the University of Florida. She holds a Master of Science degree in Speech Pathology from Vanderbilt University. Linda has worked in private and public schools, early intervention centers, skilled nursing facilities, and outpatient/inpatient rehabilitation settings. Her clients have included children and adults with needs in the areas of feeding/swallowing, voice, stuttering, receptive and expressive language, speech production, and overall functional communication skills. Linda loves engaging school-aged students in activities that are fun, interesting, and rewarding while focusing on improving their communication skills in order for them to be more successful academically and socially.

Genevieve Muller

 

​Gen Muller is an ASHA certified Speech-Language Pathologist, licensed in Rhode Island, Connecticut and Maine. She received her Master's degree in Communication Disorders from the University of Rhode Island and her Bachelor of Science in Human Development and Family Sciences from the University of Connecticut. Gen has worked in public schools, private clinics and is the owner of Blue Heron Speech and Language in Charlestown R.I. She has experience supporting children with articulation and phonological disorders, motor speech disorders, receptive-expressive language delays, and social-pragmatic language needs. In addition, Gen has experience working with children with severe-profound disabilities, autism spectrum, childhood Apraxia of Speech and Downs Syndrome. This has given her the opportunity to work with children who communicate in a variety of ways, including AAC, signs/gestures, and spoken language through a Total Communication Approach. Gen's experience spans across the lifespan as she is also trained in LSVT LOUD which is a voice therapy program for adults with Parkinson's and other neurological conditions. Gen enjoys collaborating with occupational therapists, physical therapists, teachers, and school psychologists to make sure each child has the comprehensive support they need to reach their communication goals. Gen's primary focus is establishing genuine, meaningful connections with children, recognizing that addressing their sensory and emotional needs is the essential first step toward meaningful communication growth.
